Overview
Mechanical Bodies – Unfolding Across Systems and Affects
19/09/2025 – 05/01/2026
At first glance, the works in the Mechanical Bodies exhibition seem to speak in very different artistic languages: symbolic photography, poetic forensic sculpture, techno-ecological installation, glitched selfhood, and perceptual disruption. Yet taken together, they reveal a shared trajectory, a shift in how the mechanical body moves from something external and physical to something internal and connected across systems.
This metamorphosis takes many forms throughout the exhibition, exposing how the logic of mechanization shapes bodies,
environments, identity, and experience.
Each artist offers a distinct phase of this metamorphosis.
Whether cast in latex, simulated in real time, or composed through fragmented vision, these bodies remind us that identity, like technology, is never singular. It is always becoming. It is always in relation.
