Rebekka Friedli
ABOUT
Rebekka Friedli (*1989) lives and works in Bern, Switzerland. She received her BA in Film at the Zurich University of the Arts and her MA in Fine Arts at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. During her studies, she spent a semester at Faculdade de Belas Artes in Lisbon. In her videos and video installations, she transfers metaphorical concepts into audiovisual experiences to reveal perceptions and valuations hidden in everyday language.
She is co-founder of Kollektiv Beton, a collective dedicated to immersive art. Their most recent video installation SKIES premiered at BaseCamp by Locarno Film Festival, CH (2022).
